Here are a few pictures from my trip to Hong Kong.
(click on each thumbnail to see its enlargement along with a caption)I was in the Pearl of the Orient for seven weeks (June & July, 2001) teaching psychology and English to undergraduates. I adored my time there and saw the city shut down on two occasions for typhoons Utor and Yutu (the month of June and I seeing the most amount of rain on record - 1040 mm or 41 inches)! I love the rain, although picture-taking in it requires patience and fortitude.
The city entranced me so - its people, buildings, cultures, frenetic pace, pollution, food, noise - that most images etched themselves upon my mind rather than on tape! Nevertheless, here is an offering of the latter for your perusal.
